Grampian Health & Diversity Network is a GREC project funded by the NHS Grampian Endowment Fund. Through this project, we want to empower community members from ethnic minorities in Grampian to become health champions for their communities.
Community members who want to be health champions can join a network that is growing every day, with more than 45 participants who share reliable and timely information about key health issues with family, friends and neighbours.
Health champions receive direct information about:
- Key health issues, such as the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and vaccination programme.
- Opportunities to participate in engagement activities giving a voice to diverse communities to help design and improve health services in Grampian.
To keep growing this network we are working with community connectors who are reaching out to community leaders, faith leaders and other community members who might be interested in joining this network.
So, if you live in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire or Moray and want to know more about this initiative or you know someone that might, you can write to firstname.lastname@example.org and you will be contacted by one of our community connectors.
